I graduated in fine arts in one of the best university Shanti Niketan Vishva Bharti.
I taught art for 2 years in a school called Annie Beasant in Benras. I won a contract for 100 designs from Japan for sarees. I also sold my textile designs to different stores like Moygeshal, Heals, and Liberty’s . Over the years my paintings were exhibited in numerous prestigious galleries in London. Working as a freelance artist and not having a regular income to buy myself a house, I got a job in a bank which I worked in for 23 years.
Unfortunately, due to personal circumstances I found myself homeless, and was lucky enough to be housed by NHG in 1997 at Sidney Miller Court. I was requested to paint a mural on a wall in the lounge where I now run my art classes. Art has been my passion all my life. I find immense pleasure in imparting my knowledge of art to my students, making them tremendously happy in doing so.
