I have been weaving and creating textile art pieces for over 40 years. Colour plays an important part in my life and work.
I make wall hangings and free-standing pieces often incorporating many techniques. The inspiration for my work comes out of my own life And Guyanese heritage, my own experience and my environment. I am a member of the British Tapestry Group (BTG) and South London Women Artists (SLWA), having exhibited my work with both groups. One of my pieces was part of a SLWA project; Pillow Talk at Tate Late series in 2018. I am based in London and SW France.
