I was born in northern India in 1945. Growing up I always had a passion for the arts, and during my time at university I did join an art class for 4 weeks which I loved. I married and came to the UK. I had 2 children and I began working for the Civil Service. Work and family meant I had no time to devote to my painting, however a chance meeting led me to attend Geeta’s art classes. I particularly love to paint landscapes and seascapes in acrylic, watercolours, and pastels. I have injuries to both hands, affecting my motor skills but I have not let it affect my passion for painting. It gives me an escape from the real world, and I feel at peace with myself. It is very therapeutic, and I recommend it to everyone.
